Roy, Utah
Well, here we are folks. I, Larry "Peewee" Hart, have finally taken that big rig of life on one last haul on October 27, 2025. As Mark Twain once said, "The reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated." But this time, they're right on the money. I was born back on January 12, 1945, in Peru, Indiana. Let me tell you, I sure did get around in my time. From Deedsville, Indiana to Clearfield, Utah, and finally settling down in Roy, Utah. I guess you could say I've been around the block a few times.
Now, where to start with my life's journey? Well, I was a truck driver by trade, self-employed, and damn proud of it. There's nothing quite like the freedom of the open road. I was as loyal to my truck as I was to my adoring long-time girlfriend, Doris. She put up with all my jokes, which let's be honest, were always pretty witty and funny. I was always the generous soul, willing to lend a hand or share a laugh. When I wasn't driving my truck or cracking jokes, you could find me camping, fishing, shooting guns, working out in the yard, or even horseback riding. You knew I liked you if I had a Larryism for you. I was also a proud member of the Legion, and boy, did I love my country and my American flag. I also proudly serviced my country in the United States Army.
I'm leaving behind my significant other, Doris, my sister Rita, my brother Gene, my son Larry Dean , daughter Trina and my two step-daughters, Shauna (Mike) and Vanessa (Jason). Also, many grandkids, step grandkids, nieces and nephews. Don't worry kids, I'll be watching over you and making sure you don't get into too much trouble. I'm joining my father, Neil Hart, my mother, Loha Joan Hart, and my sister, Reba Holland. It's been a while since we all got together.
In the words of the great Dr. Seuss, "Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened." And boy, did it happen. I had a pretty good run, if I do say so myself. So don't be sad. Instead, remember me for my wit, my humor, my generosity, and my loyalty.
So, here's to the next adventure. To all my friends and family, I invite you to share your memories and photos on my memorial page, so we can all remember the good times we had together. Because, after all, "Life is what happens to us while we are making other plans." See you on the other side, folks! To my grandkids and step-grandkids "Be on your best behavior or I will rip off your head and shit down your neck, Haha I love you all!"
I requested no funeral services, there will be a celebration of my life at a later time.
