Larry Stephen Twitchell Obituary recording: Larry Stephen Twitchell 73, of Bountiful, Utah entered eternal life on October 27, 2018 due to complications from diabetes and heart disease. He was born on May 3, 1945 in Blackfoot, Idaho son of Glenn F. and Rossciele Twitchell (Denney). He grew up in Blackfoot and graduated from Blackfoot High Class of 1963. Larry served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints in the Texas Spanish Speaking Mission, and then attended and graduated from Ricks College. He honorably served his country in the US Navy from 1968 to 1976, traveling afar to Japan and Iceland. He was proficient with electronics and spent his career working at Sperry and Varian in SLC, Utah. Larry was a hard worker and often worked 2 jobs to support his family. He was a very kind man and treated all with respect. He had a thirst for knowledge and read daily. He enjoyed practical jokes and had a wry sense of humor. Known as the "Chocolate Kid" he had a sweet tooth and enjoyed chocolate at any time. He helped provide for 3 children and served in various church callings. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, and his former wife Cheryl Twitchell (Epperson). He is survived by his children Larry Twitchell Jr. (Tami), Elizabeth Twitchell, and Diana Twitchell, and brothers Denney Brent Twitchell, Greg Twitchell, and Kevin Twitchell. He had 8 grandchildren: Meagan, Kaya, Shayla, Jaden, Damian, Mason, Andrew, and Matthew. A memorial service will be held Friday 11:00 A.M. November 2, 2018 at the Myers Mortuary at 845 Washington Blvd friends may call Friday from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Interment will take place at the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery with Military Honors.
