Our beloved Wife, Mom, Grandmother, and Meme passed away February 18, 2012. She left the loving arms of her family to join her precious daughter Tammy in eternal love.
LaVina was born August 10, 1937 to Ted and Emma LaVina Carlson in Princeton, ID. She moved to Ogden as a teenager and later married her one true love, D. LaMar Doman, on January 20, 1954. She loved shopping, gardening, ceramics, bowling, camping, boating, and spending time with her friends, but most of all she loved being with her family. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She is survived by her loving companion of 58 years, LaMar; her son, Ted and his wife Terrie Doman; grandchildren: Jason (Heidi) Doman, Jamie (Jason) Lowder, Jennifer (Clint) Harmer, Jeremiah (Erin) Doman, Matthew Lowther; and twelve great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Walter Carlson of San Diego, CA; sister, Myrtle Hawkes of Virginia and many nieces and nephews.
She touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
We would like to thank everyone at Dr. Hansen's office, especially Joe and Andi; and the nurses at McKay Dee 3rd floor IMC unit for all their loving care.
She will be honored by her family and friends at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. on Monday, February 27, 2012 at 11a.m. Friends may pay their respects on Sunday, February 26, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday, prior to the service from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.
Interment will be at Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
