Lavon Ladell Nowling Obituary (1938 - 2002)

OGDEN - LaVon Nowling, 63, passed away Saturday, February 9, 2002 at McKay-Dee Hospital. She was born April 2, 1938 in Chester, Idaho to Elmer and Nora Martin Dixon. She married LaVelle J. Nowling on February 7, 1953 in Ely, Nevada. She was a member of the Lorin Farr 2nd Ward. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, sewing and cooking. Surviving are her husband, LaVelle J. Nowling; one son, Curtis J. (Laura) Nowling, Syracuse, UT; one daughter, Connie R. (Eddie) Oden, Roy, Utah; ten grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Also surviving are three brothers and two sisters, Clarence (Dorothy) Dixon, Ogden; Raymond (Jeri) Dixon, Ogden; Della (Elmer) Toms, Magna; Viola (Blaine) Moon, St. Anthony, ID; and Glen (Darlene) Dixon, Seattle, WA. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Christine Brown; and a son, Rick J. Nowling.
