HONEYVILLE - Lawrence James Hogge, 81, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2001 at Brigham City Hospital of natural causes.
Lawrence was born May 19, 1920 in West Weber, UT to William Wallace and Synthia Florence Hoggan Hogge.
He married Pasty Furn DoRan on February 10, 1945 in Lincoln, Nebraska. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Temple.
Lawrence served in the US Air Force.
He is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He served in many callings, Counselor in Bishoprics, High Council, Scout Master and as a Gospel Doctrine teacher in Island Park for many years.
Lawrence is survived by his children; Andrea (Gary) Parry, Malad, ID, Larry (Shaun) Hogge, Logan, UT, Pegge (Art) Stowers, Ogden, UT, Jennifer Miller, Camarillo, CA, 21 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pasty.
Interment will be in the Honeyville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Perpetual Education Fund of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
