OGDEN - Lawrence LeRoy "Roy" Wills, 86, passed away Monday, December 22, 2003 at his home from pancreatic cancer.

He was born Sept. 14, 1917 in Roosevelt, UT to Victor Charles Wills and Lenora Blanche Campbell Wills. He married Clara Elizabeth Baker on Sept. 7, 1937 in Ogden. Their marriage was solemnized on June 9, 1938 in the Salt Lake Temple.

Roy was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army in China, Burma and India.

He was a member of the Wilson LDS 1st Ward, where he was active in Boy Scouts, Home Teaching and Scout Master.

He loved to attend the livestock auction every Tuesday. He also helped Cotton Rosser at the Ogden Pioneer Days rodeo and parade.

He worked at the Ogden Arsenal, Clearfield Naval Depot, Clearfield Nursery and retired from GSA at the IRS after 33 years of service. He then worked as a maintenance man in the kitchen at IRS. He never quit working. He loved his mountain home cabin in Scare Canyon, and going to Jackson, Wyoming to see the Bar J Wranglers once a year. He was well known for his wonderful flower and vegetable garden. We will fondly remember his large caring hands.
