Leeann DeBouzek Duran
Our beautiful, loving Mother, Leeann DeBouzek Duran entered heaven on June 22, 2017. She was born on November 6, 1936 to Paul and Irene and grew up alongside her beloved older sister, Jane. She attended Judge Memorial High School where she was the school artist and helped start the Judgeonian and graduated in 1955. Leeann married Joseph Duran in January of 1956. They were married for 55 years and raised eight children together. She was a loving wife, caring mother, and a devout Catholic. Throughout the years Leeann was involved in her community, volunteering her time at St. Therese church, Blessed Sacrament, Carmelite Convent, as well as the Abbey of Our Lady of the Holy Trinity and was a founding member of St. Florence Church. She was a devoted member of the Carmelites. She volunteered at the Union Station gift shop for 20 years and the Monastery gift shop. Leeann found solace in prayer and faith; you could find her every morning at the Abbey of Our Lady of the Holy Trinity. She was unwavering in her faith, was loving and loyal; a beautiful kind irreplaceable soul. She is now reunited with her husband Joe and her dear sister Jane.
She is survived by her eight children, Andrew, Richard, Christopher, Angela (Jim), Jody, Anthony, Robert (Charlene), and Mario; 22 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
