Leland J. Pearson Obituary (1958 - 2015)

Leland J. Pearson Leland J. Pearson of Ogden passed away on October 25, 2015. He was born June 12, 1958 in Eureka, CA to Max J. and Wanda Mae (Rowley) Pearson. He graduated from Murray High School. He married Loralie Cox in Murray; they later divorced. He married Carolyn McArthur on June 19, 1988 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Leland was a member of the Asatru religion. He was a wood carver; he made clocks, lamps and he also did Arts and Crafts furniture, he made jewelry, stained glass, enjoyed weaving and leather work. His great joys were participating in the Marriot-Slaterville Renaissance Fair as both a pirate and a Viking. Leland is survived by his wife of 27 years, Carolyn; his children, Sarah Ricks, Kari Platero and Ben Platero; 3 grandchildren, Aspen Ricks, Christian Ricks and Tashi Fu Hui Genshock and a sister LaWanda Searle. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Adrienne Pearson.
