Lena Lucero

Lena S Lucero passed to a better world after a short battle with stomach cancer on September 4, 2023. She was born to Jose G and Olivama Lopez on March 25, 1942 in Chamita New Mexico.
She married Daniel Lucero on August 15, 1960 in Roy. They had three daughters: Lorrie (deceased), Loretta, and Darlene.
Survivors include her husband, Daniel of 63 years, daughters: Loretta, Darlene and son, Carlos. Six grandkids: Rick (Adria), Nick, Michael, Danylina, Miranda, and Ana. Nine great grandkids: Demitrick, Eligh, Layla, Chuie, Eddie Von, Dominique, Anycia, Clover, and CJ.
She was the last member of the Lopez family.
Lena was a member of St Mary's Catholic Church for 63 years.
Our mother always selflessly put her family before herself. Not only did she raise us, but was also involved in raising her grandkids and even some of her great grandkids.
Lena was also very dedicated to the jobs she had for over 32 years. Mom was always good to everyone, including strangers. If she saw someone that needed anything, she would do what she could to help, from school supplies for kids, toys, groceries and help pay bills.
She cared and loved all of her nieces, nephews, and cousins, etc.
Services will be held, Friday, September 8, 2023 at St. Mary's, 4050 S 3900 W, West Haven, Ut, at 11:00 AM. A viewing will be held, Thursday, September 7, 2023 6:30-8:00 PM with a Rosary a 7:00 PM at Myers Mortuary 5865 S 1900 W Roy, Utah.
