Leon Heslop

Leon Robert Heslop, 90, passed away October 22, 2023 in Ogden, Utah. He was born October 13, 1933 in Ogden, Utah to Austin Heslop and Charlotte (Lottie) McFarland.
He graduated from Weber High School, was a farmer and retired from IHC Hospital as a Carpenter. Leon married Beverly Madsen on May 27, 1954 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She preceded him death on March 23, 2016. He loved gardening and taking care of his pet goats. He also loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He always made sure there was enough bubblegum and tootsie pops for any of the kids that came to visit. Leon was a great mentor to everyone.
Leon is survived by children Stephen (Arlene) Tronier, Diane (David) Hanline, Mark (Zana) Heslop, Lisa (John) McDonald; daughter-in-law Annette Heslop and twin sister Lujean James. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, multiple siblings, and son Robert Andrew Heslop.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, October 25, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at West Weber Cemetery, 4590 W. 950 N., West Weber, Utah. A viewing will be prior to services from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. at the West Weber 1st Ward, 4100 W. 900 S., West Weber, Utah.
