Leonard Lucas

OGDEN - Leonard Lucas passed away April 14, 2006 at Infinia Health Care in Ogden.

Leonard was born April 1, 1918 in New Haven, Connecticut to August Leonard and Estella Smith Lucas. He married Dorothy Pomeroy; they later divorced.

Leonard served as a Private in the Army during WWII. He was a member of Battery "C" 96th AAA Gun Battalion and fought in the Central Pacific where he received a bronze Star.

He is survived by all the Staff at Infinia Health Care who treated him like family.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at Utah Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bluffdale, UT. A viewing will be held prior to the graveside services from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary in Ogden, 845 Washington Blvd. where Military Honors will be conducted.
