Leonel Miller

Leonel W. Miller peacefully passed away on December 9, 2023, in his home surrounded by loved ones. He was born January 19, 1952, in Worcester, Massachusetts.
Len loved to cook, swim, fish, read, and despite his better judgment, was a die-hard Boston Celtics, Red Sox, and New England Patriots fan. He also loved animals, especially his best friend (and dog) Drew. Len married his first wife, Debbie Vallee, and had two beautiful daughters. He remarried Sheryl Stromberg and took on the role of stepdad to her two daughters. They were later surprised by a beautiful baby boy.
He proudly served his country through the United States Air Force where he later retired after 21 years at the rank of Master Sargent. In his retirement he continued to work odd jobs to keep himself active, including time working and volunteering with the American Legion and doing work for a non-profit organization.
He is preceded in death by his parents John T. Miller and Patricia Meservey and his daughter Kimberly Miller.
Carrying his life forward will be his siblings Paula Doane, Patricia Miller, and David Miller; partner Cathy Rinderknecht and her son Christian Palmer; children Amy Starr and John Miller (Courtney); stepchildren Shantel Wight (Logan) and Kristen Bell; and step grandchildren.
For the service, the family would like you to be comfortable, casual attire is requested. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Boulevard Ogden, UT 84404.
