LEROY JAMES DAVIS

BRIGHAM CITY-LeRoy James Davis, 83, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2005 from heart failure.
He was born April 10, 1921 in Brigham City, UT the son of Vinson F. and Naomi
Faulkner Davis.
When LeRoy was only five his mother passed away. Later, his father married Louise Oyler and together they raised him along with other siblings.
He married Diane Knudson on January 7, 1948 in Brigham City, UT. LeRoy and Diane were sealed for eternity June 2, 1972 in the Ogden LDS Temple.
LeRoy served in the U.S. Army in the China Burma Theater during World War II. He enjoyed farming and retired from the Internal Revenue Service in 1986. After retiring, he continued to farm until his health would no longer allow.
He is survived by his wife, Diane, one daughter, Julie (David) Reich, Sandy, UT; three brothers, two sisters, five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Gregory, and two sisters.
His family has many good memories of life on the farm with him that they will cherish forever. He will be greatly missed.
Friends may call on Wednesday, April 13, 2005 from 9:00 to 10:40 a.m. at the Perry 4th Ward, 658 West 2250 South, Perry, UT.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Perry 4th Ward Chapel.
Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
