Our Precious Son, Levi Ray Casias
Aug. 28, 2026 - Aug. 30, 2026
With hearts forever changed, we share the passing of our beautiful son, Levi Ray Casias, who spent a short but deeply meaningful time on this earth. He fought bravely for two days so that he could pass peacefully in the comfort of our arms. Though his days were few, the love he brought in our lives will stay with us forever.
For 33 weeks, we hoped, prayed, and fought for every moment we could have with him. We wish we had been given more time, but we are forever grateful for every second he was ours.
Levi is lovingly survived by his parents Laurence and Jenna Casias, and by his big brothers, Jaylen and Easton, who were so excited to teach him baseball, football, and all the things brothers share. Jaylen and Easton told us they imagine heaven feels like “sleeping on the clouds,” and we hold close the thought that Levi rests there now - safe, warm and surrounded by love.
Levi is preceded in death by his sister Chloe, great-grandparents Don & Betty Kap, Dennis King and his great uncle Randy Torres. We find comfort imagining him playing with Chloe and knowing he is being held, guided, and cherished by our loved ones in heaven brings us peace in our hearts.
He is also survived by grandparents Loren & Angel Casias, Randy & Karen King, and great-grandparents Phillip (Abby) Jaramillo, Rose Franco, Loretta (Gordon) McKay, Bill (Ria) Walker, and Amy King, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins who have been touched by his spirit and his fight.
Graveside services will be held at Evergreen Memorial Park, 100 N. Monroe Blvd., Ogden, UT, on Saturday, Sept. 5th at 1:00 p.m. We will greet family and friends prior to the service from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden, UT.
We are deeply grateful for the love, compassion, and prayers so many have shown during this difficult time.
Levi will forever be loved, forever cherished, and always remembered as a treasured blessing to our family. Till we meet again, sweet baby Levi. We love you!
