HOOPER - On Wednesday, January 21, 2009 our beloved angel baby Levi Scott Higley returned in purity and goodness to our Heavenly Father. He was born December 16, 2008 to Jenna and Casey Higley. For 36 days we were blessed to love and hold our special trisomy baby--one chromosome too many, too few memories to cherish; but we take comfort knowing he dwells with our Savior Jesus Christ and look forward to the day when joy conquers sorrow.
Our little guy was loved by his parents and brother, Stone; grandparents Kevin and Tammy Higley and Scott and Carol Manning and their families; his aunts and uncles: Justin and Sara, Trevor, and Colton Higley; Tyler and Heidi Manning, Corinne and Dean Parker, Caitlan and Joel Hancock.
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to our family, friends, and neighbors for their thoughts and prayers, loving acts of service, and generosity. Special thanks to the NICU doctors and nurses at Primary Children's Hospital as well as Jill, Heidi, and Shawn at Intermountain Hospice.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 24, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the West Weber Cemetery, 4700 West 900 North. Family and friends may call on Saturday at the Hooper Park Ward, 5601 South 6100 West, Hooper from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. prior to services.
Levi is ". . . a pure, white rose born to the choicest of mothers and fathers, whose pain will be a heavy cross to bear . . . ." We shall miss him. We love you, Levi.
