Lewis Allen Jennings Obituary (2021)

Lewis Allen Jennings, "Lew" to his friends, passed away at the age of 59 on July 2, 2021, at his home in Layton, Utah. He was born September 11, 1961, in Grand Junction, Colorado to Jim and Joni Jennings. Lew was a member of the United States Air Force from 1980-1996, stationed in Alaska and Utah. He served as crew chief with the 6514 Test Squadron at Hill Air Force Base. After his enlistment, he worked for Thompson Manufacturing, Inc. for 25 years as a machinist. He married Kristine, on December 22, 1982, in Anchorage, Alaska and shared 39 years together. He was the proud father of William James and Kathryn Arisai. He shared many humorous stories of his growing up, instilling these traits in his children. Lew enjoyed, hunting, fishing, camping, motorcycles, and in his younger years competed in moto-cross racing. He is survived by his wife and children; his parents, Jim and Joni Jennings; and his brothers, Spencer (Teri) and Michael (Tammy); as well as his nephew and nieces. Thanks to all who befriended Lew, the VA and his doctors for their compassion and support. As he would say when offering his sage wisdom: "Here's the deal......." .... And the deal is this. You are greatly missed. We love you and miss you terribly. Until we meet again, watch over us as you did in life.
