Lloyd Barrett Schiffman

Lloyd Barrett Schiffman loving Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather passed away September 15, 2018. He was born April 22, 1925 in Logan, Utah to Albert and Evaline Barrett Schiffman the last of twelve children.

Lloyd married Pauline Hansen on May 10, 1947. They were sealed for time and all eternity in the Logan Temple on May 13, 1955. They spent 70 beautiful years together.

He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, serving in numerous callings. He and Pauline faithfully attended the temple every Tuesday morning with their friends.

Lloyd was a decorated World War II Army Veteran, where he honorably served his country. He worked and retired from Hill Air Force Base.

Lloyd and Pauline enjoyed many years in Yuma, Arizona, belonging to a hiking club. They made many lifetime friends. He enjoyed playing basketball and fast pitch softball.

Lloyd is survived by his children: Richard and Marilyn Schiffman, Robert Schiffman, Helen and Kevin DeMille, Lance and Vera Schiffman; 15 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Pauline, his parents and two sisters and nine brothers. Dad was always a loving example to our family. He will be greatly missed; until we meet again.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, September 24, 2018, at 11:00 a.m., at Municipal Park Ward, 5900 South 2200 West, Roy, Utah. A viewing for family and friends will be held Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Roy Mortuary 5865 South 1900 West, Roy, Utah and from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. prior to services at the church.

In lieu of flowers, donate to the charity of your choice.

Interment will be at Hooper Cemetery, 5290 South 6300 West, Hooper, Utah.
