Lois Bowden

Lois Price Bowden was born June 24, 1935, to Orlla Louis and Melba Sorenson Price in Darlington, Idaho. She was raised on the family farm in Mackey, Idaho. She attended School in Moore, Idaho. Where Lois met her husband Larry Jay Bowden. They were married August 29, 1951 in Darlington, Idaho. They lived in Moore, Idaho for close to two years until Larry enlisted in the US Air force. He passed away July 14, 2000. She spent 16 years traveling across the US as a military wife, finally stopping in Utah. She had 2 children Russell A. Bowden and Lorri G. Bowden Moore (deceased). She has 7 grandchildren; Brooke Morley, Joni Bowden, Brett Bowden, Travis Moore, Trevor Clark and Brandi Clark. 6 great grandchildren; Channa Tarbet, Kendra Bowden, Jagger Strickland, Amber Bowden, Tristan Morley and Keira Morley.

Lois has lived in Darlington, Idaho; Moore, Idaho; MT Home, Idaho; Texas; Layton, Roy, Hooper, Taylor and Clinton Utah. She ran a Horse Breeding and Racing business for 28 years. Worked and retired from Hill Air Force Base.

Lois enjoyed sewing quilts, gardening, visiting with friends and neighbors while walking her dog. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and great grand kids. Her family always came first and she loved them dearly.

Lois experienced a stroke in March 2015 and has been living at Country Pines Assisted Living. She passed away in her sleep on March 31, 2017.

Lois was proceeded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, and 1 sister. Her husband and daughter.

A special thanks to the many doctors and nurses affiliated with the McKay and Davis hospital and clinic.

A celebration of her life was held April 4, 2017.
