Lona J. Badger Obituary (1910 - 2001)

OGDENa"Lona J. France Badger, age 91, returned to her Heavenly Father, husband and family on February 5, 2001. Lona was born on January 21, 1910 in Uintah, Utah, to William France and Julia Haight France. She married Read P. Badger in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on June 21, 1939. He later passed away on June 30, 1981. She was very active in the LDS Church, attending the Ogden 21st Ward, serving in the Primary and other callings. She was also a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. Lona was an avid baseball fan and never missed watching a world series. She was the eighth and last surviving child in her family. She is survived by one son and one daughter; Richard R. (Pat) Badger of North Ogden, Ann B. (Kirk) Laughter of South Ogden. Also surviving are four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
