Louise Diaz

Louise Carmel Hernandez, born on February 5, 1966, in Phoenix, Arizona, to David B. and Patricia Hernandez, passed away at home after a battle of cancer surrounded by her family on June 27, 2024, at the age of 58. Known for her love of music, cooking family meals, and supporting the Steelers, Louise lived a life filled with joy and a deep connection to her family. She spent many years working as a cook at the Northern Utah Rehabilitation Hospital, where she touched many lives with her culinary skills and loving nature.
Louise enjoyed spending time with her beloved family, BBQing, dancing, fishing, and camping. She had a special fondness for each of her grandchildren, always taking the opportunity to make silly faces and laugh with them. Her love for her family was matched only by her passion for her work in the kitchen, where she delighted in preparing meals for her loved ones and the patients she served at work.
Louise is survived by her mother: Patricia Taylor; her children: Tina (Stevie), Christopher (Mayra), and Tamra (Steven); siblings: Michael (Yvette), Robert (Michael), Dirk (Nicole), and Patrick, and Mary (Luis); her partner: Mariah; and her grandchildren: Vanessa (Mito), Julian, Alyssa, Angelo, Sauvouns, Airian, Airius, Daniel, Jovanni, Sebastian, Aiyana, and Laveah.
She was preceded in death by her father: David Hernandez; her siblings: Dave and Nanette; and her best friend: Cheryl.
Funeral Services will be on Friday, July 5, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 South 100 East, Brigham City, Utah. A Viewing will be held prior to the service from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment will follow the funeral service at the Brigham City Cemetery.
Louise's memory will be cherished and kept alive by all who knew and loved her.
