L Dee Crandall Obituary (2008)

Layton ~ Lucian "Dee" Crandall passed away June 18, 2008 at Davis Hospital and Medical Center. He was born to Lucian Chipman Crandall and Thelma Batchelor on September 24, 1928 in Salt Lake City, Utah. January 2, 1970 he married Sue S. Crandall. He proudly served in the Korean War, and was a life long member of the VFW. He worked at HAFB as an Industrial Engineer for logistics command until his retirement. Dee loved to go four wheeling, enjoyed computers; there wasn't anything he couldn't fix. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Dee is survived by his daughter, Dorathy Matter of Portland, OR; nine grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and ten great-great grandchildren; and sister, Jean Johansen, American Fork, UT. Funeral Services will be held Monday, June 23, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 250 North Fairfield Road, Layton, UT. Family and friends may gather Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to services. Inurnment will be at the American Fork City Cemetery.
