Lucy Rodriguez

On the third of June, 2024, Lucy was reunited in Heaven with her husband, Arturo Rodriguez. Lucy was born August 29, 1948, in Green River, Wyoming, to parents Sophie and Richard Lucero. The family moved to Ogden, Utah in 1960. Lucy graduated from Ogden High School in 1967. She married Arturo Rodriguez in 1984. Together they raised their children Teri, Arthur, Tracy, Sandra Jr, Amy, and Nathaniel.
Lucy was a home healthcare provider until she retired. She enjoyed baking with her grandchildren, camping with her family, and traveling. She loved her animals Oso, Chloe and Molly.
Lucy is survived by her two daughters, Teri (Jose) Partida, Tracy (Anthony) Martin, and her son Arthur (Julie) Rodriguez along with 27 grandchildren, (one great-grandchild is on the way). She is also survived by her sisters Gloria (Walter) Martinez, Pat (Charlie) Schweikert, Sandra (Charles) Martinez, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband (Arturo), one son (Rudy L. Flores II) mother and father, brother (Richard) and three grandsons (Carlitos, Zane, and Mark) a granddaughter (Fealina) and two sisters (Pauline and Lily).
She will be missed by many family and friends.
The family wants to give special gratitude to her hospice providers, Alicha, Courtney, Andrea, and Deanna, for the love and care of our mother.
A visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. followed by a service at 5:30 pm.
