Lylle Manning Lower Obituary (1927 - 2003)

Lylle Manning Lower Our dear wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Lylle Manning Lower returned home to her Heavenly Father on August 8, 2003 after a long illness. She passed away at home in her sleep. Lylle was born April 2, 1927 in Hooper, Utah. A daughter of Joseph and Edith Manning. She graduated from Weber High School. She married William Leavitt Lower on January 17, 1951. They later sealed their marriage for time and all eternity in the Logan L.D.S. Temple. Lylle enjoyed helping other people and was very selfless with her time. She also liked doing many crafts, doll making and sewing. She lived in West Point the last 47 years. She was an active member of the West Point 10th Ward and she loved her Heavenly Father dearly. Surviving are her husband William; two sons; Shelby (Cindy) Lower, Mitch (Nina) Lower; one daughter, Ginger (Dale) Hobbs; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Lylle loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and even with her poor health, she gave them rides in her wheelchair and hung on to life to see them grow. She was preceded in death by two brothers; Don (Evadna) Manning, Wallace (Zelma) Manning, two sisters, Martha Mae (Merrill) Widdison and Flora (Vern) Taylor.
