Lynette Amy Schofield Fryer left us suddenly on Friday, February 3, 2017 after a short struggle in the ICU. She passed peacefully surrounded by family and loved ones. Lynette was born in Layton, UT on August 4, 1983 to Kent and Robyn Schofield. She lived in Layton until she was 9 years old when she moved to Marriott-Slaterville. Lynette was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Lynette graduated from Freemont High School in 2001. She married her husband and soulmate, Richard W. Fryer, on May 31, 2005.

Lynette is preceded in death by her brother Paul, Aunt Melodie, and cherished Grandpa Allan Barker. Lynette is survived by her husband, Richard; children; Nathanial (16), Mariah (11), Tabitha (8), and Eli (6); parents, Kent and Robyn Schofield; brothers; Barry (Ivette), Lyle, Kelly (Emily), Michael (Amie) and sister Alicia (Drew) Dalton; grandparents, Bruce and Mary Schofield and Olga Barker (LeLand Rowley); mother-in-law, Marsha Fryer; brothers'-in-law; Blair Fogg (Karen) and Eric Fryer (Jennifer) and sisters'-in-law; Janice McGaha, and Rachel Peterson.

Lynette worked at IRS and then later as a stay at home mom. She was a crafted hobbyist, seamstress, and loved to build things and to help her family and friends any way she could. Lynette and her family have enjoyed years of participation in the Fort Bridger, Wyoming Mountain Man Rendezvous.

A viewing will be held on Friday, February 10, 2017, from 6 to 8 pm at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017, at 11 am at the LDS Rock Cliff Ward House, 236 Porter Ave., Ogden. There will be a viewing prior to services from 9:40 to 10:40 am at the church.
