Lynn Carl Larson (Dutch) February 23, 1940 ~ June 19, 2015 Click here to listen to Funeral Recording Farr West - Lynn Carl Larson (Dutch) of Farr West, Utah passed away on Friday, June 19, 2015. Dutch grew up in Corinne, UT. He married his sweetheart, Gay Christensen, on October 20, 1960. The first 35 years of their lives together were in Brigham City where their eight children were born and raised. Dutch was a devoted family man to his wife, children, 24 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and his brothers and sisters. He did whatever it took to take care of his family, sometimes working multiple jobs. Over the years, he also made room in his family for two Navajo placement students and one exchange student. He spent much of his life as a precision machinist at Thiokol and Autoliv, but his favorite work experience was teaching at Intermountain Indian School in Brigham City. He was a master of many trades. Dutch was an active member of the LDS Church. He held many callings and enjoyed working with the youth. Dutch loved everyone that came though his door. Hugs and kisses were required for entry and exit. Dutch's hobbies included hunting, fishing, camping and horses. He and Gay retired to West Warren where he spent 11 of the best years of his life raising his own hay and horses. Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Gay Larson; three sons, Carl, Wade (Patricia), and Shane (Carla); four daughters, Shanna Allred (Dennis), Shelly Winsor (Mark), Denise Recarte (Fermin) and Camille Wollenzein (Kenneth); two sisters, Geri Holbrook and Sunny Peery; and one brother, Timothy Larson. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Dee LaMont Larson; 4 sisters, Dion, Dawn, Dixie and Connie; 3 brothers, Kit, Theo and LaMont. We'll miss your hugs and kisses Cowboy. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 11:00 at the Westwood Ward located at 2123 N 2000 W, Farr West, Utah. Friends may call on Friday, June 26, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Myers Mortuary at 845 Washington Blvd, and at 9:40 to 10:40 a.m. at the church prior to funeral services. Interment will be in the Warren/West Warren Cemetery, 6700 W. 700 N.
