Brigham City- Lynn Lenor Lawson, 59, passed away on July 8, 2009 after a battle with cancer, surrounded by her family.
Lynn was born March 24, 1950 to Don L. and Lucille Huxtable Lawson in Storm Lake, Iowa. Her family moved from Iowa to Santa Ana, CA, and in1963 moved to Brigham City, UT, where Lynn was currently residing.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and served in various positions including, Choir Director, Young Women's Secretary, in the Relief Society and Primary. Lynn was proud to be a member of the Mormon Youth Symphonic Choir.
Lynn worked as a secretary at Primary Children's Hospital and Thiokol.
Lynn's passion for music led her to become an accomplished vocalist. She loved to perform in musical productions and had performed many times at the Heritage Theatre. She will now be performing with the angels in Heaven.
She also enjoyed sewing and watching old movies. Lynn had acquired an extensive library and loved reading.
Lynn is survived by her father, Don L. Lawson; Brother Jeffry (Carol) Lawson, Logmont, CO; Sister Paige Ann (Kenneth) Corbridge, Brigham City; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lucille.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 South 100 East Brigham City, UT.
Friends may call on Saturday from 10:00 to 10:40 a.m. at the Mortuary.
