Lynnette Butler Fritz, age 73, passed away in her home in North Ogden on Easter morning, April 1, 2018. Lynnette was born February 14, 1945 in Ogden, Utah. She attended Ben Lomond High School and was a graduate of Ogden High School. Lynnette also attended Brigham Young University and later received her degree in art and business from Weber State University.

Lynnette married William Eric Fritz in the Salt Lake Temple on August 22, 1966. She was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Family history and preserving photos were among her passions. Lynnette was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She worked as a New York Life agent for 20 years where she became a member of the Million Dollar Round Table. In her earlier years, she taught piano lessons and owned her own stained-glass company. She was a "Jill of all trades"

Traveling was always an adventure for Lynnette. She also enjoyed bowling with her friends on Ben Lomond's Bowling League for the past 14 years. There was no limit to Lynnette's abilities and talents.

Lynnette is preceded in death by her parents, Wayne Stephens Butler and Phyllis Jensen Butler. She is survived by her brothers, Jay (Kay) Butler and David (Camille) Butler; her husband of 51 years, William Eric Fritz; her children, William Aaron (Jennifer) Fritz, Kristy Lynnette (Chad) Hawks, William Eric (Nicole) Fritz, Brittney Anne (Stephen) Cummings, and 10 grandchildren.

Funeral services for Lynnette will be held at 11 am on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at the LDS meeting house located at 205 E. Elberta Dr., North Ogden. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Interment will be in the Ben Lomond Cemetery.
