Mabel Rebecca Cottam Oleson Obituary (1914 - 2010)

Mabel Oleson "Together Again" CENTERVILLE - Mabel Rebecca Cottam Oleson, 95, passed away at Heritage Park Center in Roy. She was born December 25, 1914 in Snowville, Utah to Joseph and Hannah Rebecca Buck Cottam. She married Henry R. Oleson on June 26, 1935 in the Salt Lake Temple. Henry passed away December 30, 1995. She grew up in West Ogden, graduating from Weber High School in 1932. Was a member of the LDS Church, where she held many callings within the church throughout her life, but her passion was genealogy. She worked for Dee Hospital as a nurse's aide for 10 years. She loved genealogy, reading, and traveling, she has been everywhere. Surviving are her son's; Wayne (Carol) Oleson, Cloyd Oleson, and sister-in-law, Lela Cottam. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 11, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Myers Roy Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West. Family and friends may call on Sunday, October 10, 2010 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, West Weber Cemetery.
