Mae Althea (Allie) Orme Obituary (1918 - 2004)

ALLIE ORME 'TOGETHER AGAIN' CLEARFIELD - Mae Althea Wilson Orme, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend passed away October 17, 2004 with her loving family at her side. Allie was born October 22, 1918 in Collinston, Utah, the daughter of William and Libbie Richards Wilson. She married Lee Orme in 1935 and they celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary last summer. He died January 8, 2004. Allie and Lee spent many summers camping and fishing with friends and family. They traveled extensively, going on tours and cruises and went to Europe for their 50th anniversary. Allie had worked at Homers Market, Chandler Rexall Drug, the Naval Supply Depot and retired from the Accounting and Finance at Office at Hill Air Force Base. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was extremely talented, making many quilts, afghans and crafts for family and friends. She enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles. She is survived by her children, Doug (Patti) Orme, Ft. Collins, CO; Linda (Tom) Howard, Roy, five grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren. Also surviving are siblings Don Wilson, Boise, ID; June Walker, Cove, UT; Bert Wilson, Provo, Margo Murphey, Little Rock, AR; and many nieces and nephews who were very special to her and Lee. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and two sisters. The family deeply appreciates the loving care given to our mother by the staff at Chancellor Gardens and Rocky Mountain Hospice.
