MaeBelle King Obituary (1931 - 2025)

We lovingly remember MaeBelle King, born on May 23, 1931 in Conrad, Montana, who passed away on February 26, 2025. A life-long adventurer, MaeBelle was supportive, compassionate, and deeply generous, always putting others before herself. She was a beacon of love, warmth, and kindness. MaeBelle married her beloved husband, John, on October 22, 1949 in Choteau, Montana. Together, they embarked on a life full of adventure and love, traversing the globe, from Santiago, Chile to Zambia, Africa. MaeBelle was more than just a homemaker; she was the heart of her family. As an avid bowler, MaeBelle found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Her hands were rarely still, often seen crocheting or baking cookies and pies for the holidays. She also relished time spent outdoors, camping and fishing in their motor home; these moments, woven into the tapestry of her life, were the ones she held closest to her heart. Surviving MaeBelle are her children, Michael King, Christina Baker, Jolina Lewis; and her cherished grandchildren, Kristie, Michael Jr., Patrick Jr., Shylah, Marcella, Lacie, Jessica and Troy. She is also survived by many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Bernice Joseph; her son, Patrick King; and her adoring husband, John King. In the words of Maya Angelou, "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." MaeBelle will be remembered for her loving spirit, her compassionate nature, and the generous love she bestowed upon her family and friends.
