Margaret ''Peggy'' Brown Obituary (1955 - 2003)

Margaret Rose "Peggy" Brown OGDEN - Peggy Brown, born June 6, 1955 in Meadville, PA to Lewis and Pauline (Buchko) Chappel. Peggy joined loved ones beyond the veil June 3, 2003. She endured many things since being diagnosed with ovarian cancer in Nov 2000; and also received many blessings. Peggy graduated from Meadville area high school in 1973. She received a BSN degree from Villa Maria College in Erie, PA in 1977. She worked as a nurse in Erie, PA, then moved to Salt Lake City, UT where she worked at the University of Utah Medical Center. She was baptized and confirmed a Latter-day Saint Sep 3, 1977. She married Lane Brown March 6, 1981 in the Salt Lake Temple. They had four children, Laina, Jennifer, Michael, and Carol. Peggy enjoyed serving and being kind to others, especially her children to whom she was known as "the best mommy ever". She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Louise Brown; parents, Lewis and Pauline Chappel; sisters, Paula Jeanne Chappel, Mary Louise Fisher; and brother, L. Edward Chappel. Surviving are her husband, three children, and siblings, Regina (Judy) LeSuer, Robert Chappel, Sylvia McKee, and Stephen Chappel.
