OGDEN - Loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend passed peacefully at her home on Thursday morning, August 16, 2007.

She was born on October 4, 1920 to Frans Oscar and Christine Anderson in Lewiston, Utah.

She married her sweetheart and eternal companion, William Hal Read, on October 2, 1942 in the Logan LDS Temple.

She worked at Horace Mann Elementary as a manager of the cafeteria for 38 years. She acquired many friends through her long service.

Her greatest joy was cooking for her family and friends. We will all mis her delicious cooked meals, beautifully gift-wrapped presents, and her day to day concern about us.

She was a faithful member of the LDS Church, where she served many callings.

Margaret is survived by her two children Judith Ann Read Tucker and Roger (Liz); her special granddaughter Kristy Rowell; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; brother Don Anderson; and sister Bonnie Moon.

She was preceded in death by her husband Hal Read; her brother Dean Anderson and her sister Dorothy Sparrow.

Her family would like to thank the many caregivers from Inspiration Hospice, who provided much love and comfort in her time of need.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 21st at Myers Mortuary, Ogden, 845 Washington Blvd. Friends may call on Monday, August 20th from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday one hour prior to the services.
