Margie Jean (Schultz) Larsen

Nibley - Margie Jean (Schultz) Larsen is finally at peace after a massive stroke, she was able to return to her Heavenly Father on 27 April 2010.

Margie was born in Ogden, Utah October 31, 1958 to Reta and Carlton Schultz. She married Craig Larsen of Mink Creek, Idaho on November 22, 1974 in Ogden, Utah; they were later sealed in the Logan LDS Temple. Margie spent 23 wonderful years in Mink Creek, Idaho raising her family, dairy farming, dutch oven cooking, and as a catcher for the Mink Creek Ward softball team. She was an active member of the LDS Church where she was involved in Primary, Young Womens', the Relief Society, and caretaker for the Mink Creek Cemetery. Margie was a school bus driver for the Franklin County School District for years; where she enjoyed hauling kids to sporting events, competitions, and other such extracurricular activities. She was their biggest FAN!

After raising her kids she moved to Nibley, Utah where she attended the nursing program at Stevens-Henager College, Margie only had 3 months left before obtaining her R.N.

Margie's unique laugh could bring a smile to any face and brighten any room! She truly enjoyed life!

She is survived by her parents, father Carlton R. Schultz, mother, Reta Schultz (Lupe) Colunga; her brothers Paul D. (Candy) Schultz, Dale B. (Barbara) Schultz, Loren D. (Debbie) Schultz; daughters Kim (Amy) Larsen, Cheryl (Mitch) Cowgill, Janis (Austin) Larsen; son Robert Larsen; 3 grandchildren EmmaLee, Tayden and Graydee; and close friends of the family, Kelly, Kelsey and Karly Blumberg.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah. Family and friends may visit with the family at Myers on Friday, April 30th from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 to 10:45 a.m.

Interment, Aultorest Memorial Park in Ogden.
