Margueritta Shepherd Cooper Obituary (1915 - 2001)

OGDEN - Margueritta Shepherd Cooper, 85, passed away Monday, February 19, 2001 at a local nursing home. She was born April 26, 1915 in Mobile, Alabama to James W. and Louisa Gambles Shepherd. She married L.D. Cooper on Feb 21, 1959 in Evanston, Wyoming. He preceded her in death on Nov 25, 2000. She was a member of Embry Chapel A.M.E. Church and had served as a missionary and an usher. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Surviving are two sons, Nathaniel Cooper, Stockton, California; James Woodrick, Ogden; one daughter, Willye (Oscar) Robinson, Ogden; 11 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and one brother, James Shepherd of Parrish, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, three sisters, a daughter, and a grandson.
