Maria Loyola Vigil, 86, passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2017, at her home with her loving family surrounding her. Maria was born October 24, 1930, in El Rito, New Mexico to Rosario Lopez and Aurelia Martinez.
She married Joe Harold Vigil on December 1, 1950, in El Rito, New Mexico. They have been happily married for 66 years.

Maria was a member of Apostolic Assembly church.

She loved gardening, cooking, crocheting and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Joe H. Vigil. Her daughters; Diana (Raul) Vigil Rodriguez, Gloria (Joseph) Velasquez, and Stella (Alfredo) Perea. Her sons; Tommy (Selma) Vigil and Pete (Laurie) Vigil. 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 brothers and 4 sister.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, two sisters and two brothers.

Special thanks to the Symbii Home Health and the Hospice Staff for the outstanding care provided by Candace, Shannon, Alisa, Jamie and Darin.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2017, at 11:00 a.m., at Myers Roy Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West, Roy, Utah. A viewing for family and friends will be held on Monday, October 16, 2017, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., and on Tuesday from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m., prior to services.

Interment in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
