Marie Madge Toombs Henry

MADGE HENRY

BRIGHAM CITY- Marie Madge Toombs Henry, 88, died peacefully, with Family members present, Thursday, October 25, 2001 at Brigham City Nursing and Rehab Center.
She was born October 10, 1913 in Wells, Nevada to William Addison and Harriet Hackwell Toombs.
Madge married Guy V. Henry on December 24, 1940 in Wells, Nevada; their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden Temple.
She was a member of the Corinne Wards and served in Relief Society.
Madge also was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers.
She loved to quilt.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one grandson, Steven, and two sisters, Louise and Alta.
Surviving are her husband, Guy, Brigham City, UT, children; Barbara H. (Louis) Sorensen, Kingman, AZ, Faye H. Petersen, Robert G. "Bob" (Loreen) Henry, both of Brigham City, UT; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, sisters & brothers; Betty Buchanan, Placerville, CA, William A. Toombs Jr., Mountain View, CA, Patsy Ackerman, Ogden, UT, and Fred R. Toombs, Nampa, ID.

Funeral services will be Monday, October 29, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. at the Corinne Ward Chapel, 2325 N. 4000 W., Corinne.

Friends may call Sunday, October 28, 2001 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City, and at the Corinne church on Monday from 10:00 to 10:40 a.m.

Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
