Marion H. Place (GiGi)

Marion H. Place, 84, passed away peacefully, on December 15, 2011.
She was born in Gettysburg, PA, on October 8, 1927 to Arlington K.
Hosley and Martha B. Hosley.

Marion married William (Bill) A. Place on May 3, 1947 in New Jersey.
When he retired in 1982, they moved to Florida. Bill preceded her in death
on July 17, 1998.

Marion worked as a secretary in New Jersey and Florida before retiring
in the late 1990s. Her family was the most important thing in her life and
the source of her greatest joy.

She is survived by her children, Nancy L. (Nick) Serino, Florida,
Bill (Loretta) Place, New Jersey and Jeanie (Ted) McComb, Utah, eight
grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, her brother Emerson (Joan) Hosley,
her sister, Beth MacLennan, and several nephews and nieces.

Marion's family would like to thank: Dr. David Butters and his staff, Layton,
the staff at Rocky Mountain Care, Clearfield, and Cheri, Jen and all the staff
at Community Nursing Services, Clearfield, for the love and special care
they showed to Marion.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Nursing Services for
their Hospice services.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2011, at 7:00 pm
at Christian Life Center, 2352 E. Hwy 193, Layton, UT 84040. A memorial
service will also be held on January 14, 2012, at 2:00 pm at Fellowship of
Believers Church, 3333 12th Street, Sarasota, Florida. Marion will be buried
next to her beloved husband at the National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida,
at a private burial to be held at a later date.
