OGDEN - Marjorie W. Carter, 84, passed away to the next life surrounded by her loving family on Monday, August 25, 2003 at her home.

She was born February 25, 1919 in Ogden to John Hyrum and Maria Mourina Roman Wheelwright. She married Thomas William Carter on Nov 18, 1937 in Provo. He preceded her in death on Sep 12, 1973.

She was an active member of the LDS Church and also a member of Utah Daughters of Pioneers. She was a volunteer for the Senior Companion Program and Hospice

Surviving are her children, Thomas (Marcia Martin-) Carter, Kanab, UT; Sally (Steve) Peterson, Roy, UT; Colleen (Blair) Burdess, Roy, UT; Daniel (Gaye) Carter, No. Ogden, UT; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Dorothy Mary Wheelwright of St. George.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, two sisters, and two granddaughters.
