Marjorie Fricks
1935-2007

Marjorie Fricks passed away October 5, 2007 of Acute Leukemia in her Layton home. She was born May 22, 1935 in Kaysville to Earl Colemere and Alvina Moss. She attended Davis High School and married Leo Fricks on October 5, 1956.

She is survived by her husband Leo; her son David; her daughter Karen; her son Shane; as well as her brothers Lloyd and Wayne; her sisters June and Marie and five grand children.

She spent parts of her life living with her husband and children in France, Germany, Italy, New York, Florida and New Mexico. After returning to Utah she worked at Hill AFB before retiring in 1997.

She will be remembered for her eagerness to try new things, her laughter, and her pride in her children. She was a generous and loving woman who bore the hardship of her declining health with a strong spirit and eye toward protecting those she loved.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary, 250 North Fairfield Road, Layton, Utah.
