Marjory Barth Paskett
WEST POINT - Marjory B. Paskett, passed away August 18, 2008, after a battle with cancer.
She was born April 9, 1957, at Hill Air Force Base, UT, to Richard Lee and Eva Colleen Barth. Her dad was in the military giving her the opportunity to grow up in several states and Japan. While attending Ogden High School she met Lynn Kay Paskett. They became friends and after he returned from his mission they were married on Sept. 14, 1978. Exactly one year later they were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. Marjory was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter and sister. She found joy in her family and helped create lasting memories through showing us how to work hard, always being there to help us, and many family vacations and activities. We always knew she loved us; on a wall in our home we read, "You're Loved". Education was a huge part of her life. She graduated from Snow College and Utah State University with a degree in Home Economics. Later she obtained her teaching degree from Weber State University. Over the years she continued taking classes to increase her knowledge. She taught school at Clinton Elementary and loved her students. Everywhere she went she would keep her eyes open for things she could use to teach her students. She was always looking for ways to improve and do better. She didn't believe in doing things halfway. Over the years she has made an impact on many lives and she will be missed.
She is survived by her husband, Lynn, and children Michelle, Angela, Kenneth, Laura and husband Kenny Caldwell, and Jessica; brothers Roger (Gayle) Barth, Jay (Connie) Barth, sisters Sharon (Daniel) Jensen, Elaine (Corey) Christensen, and her mother Colleen Barth. She was preceded in death by her father Richard Barth and sister Evelyn.
