Mark Ronald Sessions

On July 30, 2004, a perfect summer after noon, Mark Ronald Sessions left this earth at the same high speed that he enjoyed life. Active to the end, he is now with his beloved mother and grandparents on their next great adventure.

Mark was born in Charleston, South Carolina, to Ronald C. and Donna (Harper) Sessions on November 15, 1957.

He graduated from Ben Lomond High School in 1975. He also lived in St. George.

He married Sheryl Brown on February 15, 1980. They were married for 22 years, and later divorced. Mark and Sheryl owned and operated Sessions Upholstery where he used his extraordinary talent to create many works of art. He had a passion for his dogs, playing pool, motorcycles and anything fast, but he always stopped everything when anyone needed a listening ear.

Mark was a people person, with a keen wit and a sharp sense of humor, but was always patient and kind. His energy came from his children. He was a big kid at heart and at family gatherings he was always found playing with the kids.

With wonderful memories he will live on through his father, and his children, Misti, Josh, and Kandis "Shorty" Mickaila Sessions. Cadinn and Shaylee will dearly miss their playful grandpa. Scott (Joan) Sessions and Jolyn Marietti (Kevin) Reece will miss their brother's quiet strength and easy smile. His many nieces and nephews will always remember the time he took to teach them life's little lessons and the many wild adventures.

The family would like to express special thanks to the search and rescue team.
