Mark Allen Bybee Obituary (1951 - 2004)

MARK ALLEN BYBEE ROY - Beloved father, husband, grandfather, uncle, son and brother Mark Allen Bybee, 52, left this life on February 20th, 2004, and returned to His Father in Heaven. He was a lighthouse to his family and all with whom he came in contact. He taught and loved his family and lifted thousands through the Church Education System, molding lives and hearts. He shared himself freely, and sang often with his incredible tenor voice. He was born in Logan, Utah, September 28, 1951 to Dr. John Raleigh and VaLois Roderick Bybee, third child of seven. He was educated in Sacramento, CA and Columbus, OH where he graduated from High School. He valiantly served an honorable mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the California Los Angeles Mission. He was sealed to Monica Lee Offutt in the Los Angeles Temple on June 7, 1974. He then completed an Associates Degree at Ricks College, a Bachelors Degree at Utah State University and a Masters Degree at Brigham Young University. Mark and Monica had six beautiful daughters and loved them very much. Monica passed away tragically on August 19, 1990. Mark was sealed to Lisa Dawn Adams on December 27, 1990 in the Salt Lake Temple. They were blessed with one son and five beautiful daughters. His loves included first and foremost, his Savior Jesus Christ, his testimony, his family, his students, fishing, bow hunting, hiking, camping and boating. He loved all sports, especially golf. Mark is preceded in death by his wife Monica Lee Offutt Bybee, daughters Genesee VaLois and Zoie Catherine, and grandson Jackson Daniel Hoover, and brother Raleigh Delvan Bybee. He is survived by his wife Lisa Dawn Bybee, children: Micah Lynn (Ron) Klepzig, Ogden; Kimberly Dawn (Nathan) Young, Salt Lake City; Laura Nicoll (Daniel) Hoover, Roy; Amy Chantel (fiancAC.e Scott) Humphrey, Ogden; Angela (fiancee Scott) McKay, Brock Thomas, Danielle Monica, Jade Elaine, Jazmin Paige, Zara Elizabeth; and grandchildren: Jordan, Alex, Hannah Monica, and Wyatt Jackson; his parents, John R. and VaLois Bybee; siblings: Stephen Lee (Caroll) Bybee, Logan; Charlene (Robin) Wall, Lindon; Michael Dean (Karen) Bybee, Richmond; MaryAnn (Tom) Clausen, San Jose, CA; and Jack Arthur (Terry) Bybee, Salt Lake City, and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
