SO. OGDEN - Marvin Russell Spaulding passed away peacefully on Easter Sunday, April 8, 2007 from a life-long illness.

Russell was born in Ogden, Utah, the son of Marvin R. Spaulding and Nan Lord on March 18, 1957. He attended Clearfield High School and O-WATC. He married Deborah Salisbury (later divorced) on June 21, 1974 and together raised two children, Danny Russell and Lorri Ellen.

Russell had many jobs before starting at Grating Systems, Inc. where he stayed for twenty-two years. He enjoyed to camp, fish, hunt and golf. And he always had a special place for family pets.

He is survived by his fiancAC.e, Cherie Borg; father, Marvin R. (Gaylene Wood) Spaulding; mother, Nan (Hugh) Lord; son, Danny (Tammi) Spaulding; daughter Lorri (Dan) Richardson; sister, Laura (Darrin) Taylor; best-friend, Jim (Linda) Greer and his beloved cat Cubby Bear. Last, but not least, three granddaughters; Miranda, Kalissa and Gennessee who were the loves of his life.

Russell was preceded in death by grandparents, aunts, uncles and good friends, along with his loving dogs Penny, Alex and Ruby.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 13, 2006 at 11 a.m. at Myers Mortuary in Roy, 5865 South 1900 West. A viewing for friends and family on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services.
Interment, Roy City Cemetery.
