WEST OGDEN - Mary Ann Martinez Cervantes, 60, died May 26, 2007 in West Ogden. She was born October 20, 1946 in Del Norte, CO the daughter of Antonio B. Martinez and Mary E. Espinosa Martinez. She married Richard Rudy Cervantes Sr. October 5, 1962; he preceded her in death November 27, 1992.

Mary Ann was a member of the Catholic Church, St. Mary's Parish.

She is survived by her partner and companion, Roger Barela, who has been very supportive throughout her illness not only to her but also her family; son Richard Cervantes (Kimberly Rawson); daughters Nadine Cervantes (Robert Silva), JoAnn Cervantes; grandchildren Randy Valdez, Jr., Mary Ann Valdez, Ann Marie Cervantes, Fernando Cervantes, Jessica Cervantes, Orlando Cervantes; and seven great grandchildren. Also, two sisters Maria Baca and Loretta (Regino) Melendez.

She was preceded in death by her husband; grandson Joseph Cervantes; parents; two brothers and two nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, June 1, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Friends and family may call on Thursday, May 31st from 6 to 8 p.m. at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. where a rosary will be held at 7 p.m.

Interment at Myers Evergreen Memorial Park.
