Mary Elizabeth Kathcart Obituary (1926 - 2007)

Mary E. Kathcart ROY - Mary E. Kathcart, 80, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2007 into Gods hands. She was born May 4, 1926 in Centralia, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Joseph and Katherine Matkoski. Mary married William S. Kathcart on May 25, 1946 in Pennsylvania. They have been married 60 years. Mary has lived in Utah the past 15 years. During WW II Mary worked as a welder in Philadelphia at the naval shipyard. Was a part time teacher for the catholic school children in California and an apartment manager in Van Nuys, California. She also was a waitress in various places and worked for the Department of Justice in Philadelphia. Mary had five daughters and two sons, 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Survived by her husband, William, Roy, UT; children: Mary (John) Blevins, Coalville, WA; Joanne (Fred) Crane, Brigham City, UT; William (Rhonda) Kathcart, Levittown, PA; Cynthia Kathcart, Stephanie Neukum, Debra Kathcart, all of PA; Randy (Kathy) Kathcart, Roy, UT. She was preceded in death by her parents. Rest in peace my beloved one. You will be missed. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, April 20, 2007 at 10 a.m. at the St. Mary's Catholic Church, 2740 Pennsylvania Ave. Ogden, Utah.
