Mary Hamblin

Mary Hamblin, passed away on June 23, 2022, at the age of 86. Mary was the daughter of Arthur and Ressie Scheid. She was born April 18, 1936 and raised in Salt Lake City, UT, she graduated from East High School.
She married Marley Kay Hamblin on November 20, 1959, in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they had 4 children.
Mary was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and faithfully served in a several callings. Mary's primary job was raising her children, but she worked as a dietary supervisor of Godfrey's Nursing Home to support her sons on their missions.
Mary enjoyed gardening, watching the Utah Jazz, and playing Phase 10. Mary was proud of her children and grandchildren. She was thrilled to become great-grandmother to twins.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and siblings. Mary is survived by her children: Marley (Callie) Hamblin, Greg Hamblin, Mark Hamblin, Kaylynn Hamblin; 9 grandchildren Nick, Kristin, Matthew, Joshua, Derrick, Jacob, Bryan, Sarah, Aimee; and 2 great-grandchildren Aliya & Jaya.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Brigham City 20th Ward, 650 Anderson Drive, Brigham City, UT. A viewing will be held prior to the service on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. at the church.
Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
