Mary Darline Pappas

Our cherished Mother, Wife, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Sister, Mary Darline Pappas, completed her life's journey on June 6, 2017 in Ogden, Utah. Born in Ogden on August 3, 1937 to parents John and Verness Braunberger. She attended Ogden High School, Weber College and was a graduate of Painters College of Beauty.

She married John S. Parkinson (Jack) and had two daughters and one son. They were later divorced and she married Thomas G. Pappas on May 6, 1975. They were blessed with one more son.

Working beside her husband in their Bail Bond business for many years, she was a sharp business woman, and homemaker. With her husband Tom, she helped form the Utah Bail Bond Oversite Board and was a founder of the Utah Bail Bond Association. She was responsible in helping with the legislative laws that govern the Bail Bond Industry in Utah.

She loved bowling, square dancing, vacations with her husband, camping, riding four wheelers, fishing and small trips to Wendover. All of which was done with family, her absolute top priority. There are not words enough to say how much we love, and will miss her.

Surviving are her children: Jolene (Rick) Marker, Skip (Julia) Pappas, Kim (Alan) Law; 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband Thomas Pappas and son Dane Parkinson.

Per her request there will be no service; cremation will be entrusted to Myers Ogden Mortuary.
