MARY PARKER SNYDER
ROY- Mary passed away peacefully April 13th 2017. Mary was born April 29 1928 in Ogden, Utah, the oldest of 3 children born to Leet Grant Parker and MaryAnn Green. She attended Weber State College where she participated in Marching Band. She married her Eternal Companion James Richard Snyder on March 22, 1950 in the Salt Lake Temple. She was a stay at home Mom and able to raise their 9 children. She was an accomplished seamstress and loved music, knitting, crocheting, embroidering, canning and puzzles. She was a faithful member of the LDS Church and served in many church callings, including 3 Family History missions with her husband. She continued her missionary work in her home up to her final days sharing her strong Testimony to all those who would come into her home. She is survived by her children, Duane (Pat), Karry (Cheryl), Garth, Dale, Tammy (Dennis) Glover, Jim (Sandra), David (Maria), Mary Jean (Dave) Steab, DeAnn (John) Wyan, 29 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband James, her parents, siblings Wilma and Wilmer.
Funeral services will be Thursday, April 20, 2017 at 11:00 AM, with a viewing to be held Wednesday, April 19, 2017, 6-8 PM and prior to the service from 9:30 -10:30 AM. At Myers Roy Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West, Roy, Utah,
Interment will be in the Ogden City Cemetery, Ogden, Utah.
