Maryee Christensen Otero Obituary (1949 - 2015)

Maryee Christensen Otero "Together Again" ROY - Maryee Christensen Otero, 66, passed away Monday, June 15, 2015. She was born January 19, 1949 in Evanston, Wyoming to Sophus Arnold and Elizabeth Josephine Ewer Christensen. Maryee married Charles James Lambert in Evanston, Wyoming. Charles passed away. She married Paul Otero Jr. on October 25, 1980 in Elko, Nevada. Paul passed away July 11, 2004. She attended Evanston High School. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and also a member of the Rotary Club. She retired after 36 years of service from Clearfield Job Corps. She was a Work Based Learning Coordinator. Maryee loved to cross stitch, read and do holiday decorating, wearing hats and cool socks. Her most enjoyment was spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving is her daughter, Elizabeth A. Crawford of Roy; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild, her sister, Ruth A. Mamman of Roy; and five sisters-in-law, Loretta (John), Martha (Steve), Roni (Mark), Maria (Tim), Roberta (Elmo). She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Paul Otero Jr., and son, Arnold C. Lambert. Special thanks to Step Forward Home and Hospice for the loving care given to Maryee, especially Suzanne. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 19, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Myers Roy Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West, Roy. A viewing will be held Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Hooper City Cemetery.
