Matthew Michael Catanzaro, of North Ogden, Utah, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2017, at the tender age of 33.

Matt was born to parents Bruce and Katrina Catanzaro on January 5th, 1984, in Westminster, Colorado. He was the youngest of four children. As a child, the Catanzaro family moved many times due to his father's profession, which resulted in Matt attending two high schools, Irvington High School in Irvington, New York, and then he graduated from Plymouth High School in Plymouth, New Hampshire in 2002. He was a football fan, and played on teams in both Irvington and Plymouth, and played varsity in 2001 when the Plymouth Bobcats won the State Championships. His jersey number was #72.

Matt and his wife Meggan met in 2003, where they both worked at Walmart in Plymouth, New Hampshire. They were married civilly January 29, 2004, and then were sealed for time and all eternity in the Boston Massachusetts Temple, on January 29th 2005. Matt started his electrical career in 2004. He attended Laconia Adult Education to start his electrical trade licensure and completed it at Ogden Weber Applied Technical College in Utah, receiving his Journeyman's Electrician's License. He worked as an electrician for Jewell and Johnson Electrical Services and Doherty Electrical Services in New Hampshire; Knight Electric, The Horsley Company and SW&B in Utah, and CH2MHILL and NANA Construction in Alaska, where he completed his Electrical Administrator's license. He was currently working for Delta Constructors as a Lead Electrical Estimator at the time of his passing.

Matt loved his family, loved the gospel of Jesus Christ, loved being a missionary, and loved life. He always looked for opportunities to serve and uplift others, was adventurous and fun loving, and looked for opportunities to make those around him laugh. He is survived by his wife Meggan, and their five children, Beckham (11), Caitlyn (7), Conner (6), Paige (3), and Raegan (1).
